He has acted as the Chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, and also served as the Additional Advocate General of Haryana. He is credited with pioneering in establishing India International University of Legal Education and Research, ‘IIULER, Goa’, second university by the Bar Council of India. In 2019, his contributions led to the High Court Collegium recommending him as a Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana....

Advocate Partap Singh for the Petitioners:  

A Panchkula Court has granted bail to Youth Congress leader Divyanshu Budhiraja, who is contesting from Haryana's Karnal Lok Sabha seat against former Chief Minister ML Khattar, in 2018 FIR pertaining to the Haryana Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.

Budhiraja has also moved the High Court seeking quashing of a case registered against him for his alleged failure to appear before the trial court in the same FIR.

 Advocate Partap Singh & Parth Singh for the Petitioners: पंचकुला की एक अदालत ने शुक्रवार को युवा कांग्रेस नेता दिव्यांशु बुद्धिराजा को हरियाणा संपत्ति विरूपण निवारण अधिनियम के तहत 2018 के एक मामले में जमानत दे दी, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने खिलाफ जारी गैर-जमानती वारंट के अनुसार अदालत के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया था।

बुद्धिराजा आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव में करनाल लोकसभा सीट से कांग्रेस पार्टी के उम्मीदवार हैं और उनका मुकाबला हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) नेता मनोहर लाल खट्टर से होगा।

The Punjab and High Court has issued notices on a plea seeking directions to conduct elections for the positions of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor within the Municipal Corporation of Haryana's Panchkula, which are allegedly due for over 3 years.

A bench of Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Harsh Bunger issued notice to Panchkula Municipal Corporation and its Mayor.

Akshaydeep Chaudhary, an elected councillor stated in the plea that despite clear mandates under the Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, and the Haryana Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 1994, which require these elections to be held within 60 days of the notification of newly-elected Municipal Councillors, the positions have remained vacant for "more than three years since 30.12.2020".

 Chandigarh (India), 2024:  The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday issued notice to the Haryana government and the State Election Commission on a Congress Councillor’s petition seeking directions to conduct elections to the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Panchkula Municipal Corporation.  Akshaydeep Chaudhary, an elected councillor stated in the plea that despite clear mandates under the Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, and the Haryana Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 1994, which require these elections to be held within 60 days of the notification of newly-elected Municipal Councillors, the positions have remained vacant for "more than three years since 30.12.2020."
