Advocate Partap Singh for the Petitioners:  

A Panchkula Court has granted bail to Youth Congress leader Divyanshu Budhiraja, who is contesting from Haryana's Karnal Lok Sabha seat against former Chief Minister ML Khattar, in 2018 FIR pertaining to the Haryana Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.

Budhiraja has also moved the High Court seeking quashing of a case registered against him for his alleged failure to appear before the trial court in the same FIR.

 Advocate Partap Singh & Parth Singh for the Petitioners: पंचकुला की एक अदालत ने शुक्रवार को युवा कांग्रेस नेता दिव्यांशु बुद्धिराजा को हरियाणा संपत्ति विरूपण निवारण अधिनियम के तहत 2018 के एक मामले में जमानत दे दी, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने खिलाफ जारी गैर-जमानती वारंट के अनुसार अदालत के समक्ष आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया था।

बुद्धिराजा आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव में करनाल लोकसभा सीट से कांग्रेस पार्टी के उम्मीदवार हैं और उनका मुकाबला हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री और भारतीय जनता पार्टी (भाजपा) नेता मनोहर लाल खट्टर से होगा।

हरियाणा के महत्वपूर्ण कुरुक्षेत्र निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस टिकट के लिए एडवोकेट प्रताप सिंह का नाम काफी चर्चा में है. अपनी कानूनी समझ और क्षेत्र से गहरे जुड़ाव के कारण, सिंह को इस ऐतिहासिक सीट पर पार्टी की जीत की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण शख्सियत माना जा रहा है.

हरियाणा के दिल गांव दुबल कलायत में जन्मे और पले-बढ़े प्रताप सिंह की कहानी, एक स्थानीय एडवोकेट से लोकसभा के संभावित सदस्य तक, संघर्ष, धैर्य, और जनसेवा की भावना की कहानी है. दो दशकों से अधिक समय तक कानूनी करियर में सक्रिय रहते हुए, प्रताप सिंह ने कई उच्च-प्रोफाइल मामलों में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाई है, जिससे उन्हें निर्भीक और कुशल वकील के रूप में प्रतिष्ठा मिली है.

The Punjab and High Court has issued notices on a plea seeking directions to conduct elections for the positions of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor within the Municipal Corporation of Haryana's Panchkula, which are allegedly due for over 3 years.

A bench of Justice Sudhir Singh and Justice Harsh Bunger issued notice to Panchkula Municipal Corporation and its Mayor.

Akshaydeep Chaudhary, an elected councillor stated in the plea that despite clear mandates under the Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, and the Haryana Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 1994, which require these elections to be held within 60 days of the notification of newly-elected Municipal Councillors, the positions have remained vacant for "more than three years since 30.12.2020".

 Chandigarh (India), 2024:  The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday issued notice to the Haryana government and the State Election Commission on a Congress Councillor’s petition seeking directions to conduct elections to the posts of Senior Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Panchkula Municipal Corporation.  Akshaydeep Chaudhary, an elected councillor stated in the plea that despite clear mandates under the Municipal Corporation Act, 1994, and the Haryana Municipal Corporation Election Rules, 1994, which require these elections to be held within 60 days of the notification of newly-elected Municipal Councillors, the positions have remained vacant for "more than three years since 30.12.2020."

 Supreme Court of India, New Delhi (India), December 22:  Advocate Partap Singh is a member of the Bar Council of India and managing trustee of IIULER, Goa. He has acted as the Chairman of the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, and also served as the Additional Advocate General of Haryana. He is credited with pioneering in establishing India International University of Legal Education and Research, ‘IIULER, Goa’, second university by the Bar Council of India. In 2019, his contributions led to the High Court Collegium recommending him as a Judge of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana.

 July 23, 2023 09:05 PM:  The State Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana is a statutory body established under the Advocates Act, of 1961. It has 25 elected members who are elected by way of a preferential voting system for the states of Punjab, Haryana and U.T. Chandigarh by enrolled advocates. Advocate General for the states of Punjab and Haryana, both, are ex-officio members. Partap Singh was elected unopposed in 2019 as a Member representative for the State of Punjab and Haryana in the Bar Council of India. The Bar Council of India which is the apex body of Advocates in India. 

Chandigarh (India), August 22, 2023:  Mr. Partap Singh is a distinguished member of the Bar Council of India and Managing Trustee of IIULER, Goa. Advocate Singh has previously chaired the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana. He has also held the position of Additional Advocate General of Haryana. Singh is renowned for spearheading the establishment of India’s first International Law University, “IIULER, Goa” – the second university endorsed by the Bar Council of India. In recognition of his contributions, the High Court collegium recommended him as an Hon’ble Judge for the High Court of Punjab and Haryana in 2019.
